fashion show help

one of the main things to do on fantage is fashion shows. this page is here to help you get better scores and know what to do.

Scoring:

-first lets start with scoring. you get higher scores by getting more items to go with that theme. some items score higher then others, and those are the ones you want to find and use.

-in the first and second rounds the host of the show chooses them. if you use the same outfit every time for themes then you wont get as many points and you’ll lose originality, so mix it up a little. most of the time, the items you have for very hard themes give you more points then ones in easier themes.

items for themes like combat and historic are easy to get from wizards domain. for example, in round 1 i get yellow themed. i have all my yellow items on and only end up with 600 points, even though im really yellow. but in round 2 historic theme comes up. i put on my cleopatra hair, dress, shoes, and use my roman horse board and i come up with over 1000 points with less items.

-round 3 is different though, if you are one of the three to make it into the round you have to try to get as many items on your character as it shows on the screen.

its not a theme, just a picture of a fantage avatar with the clothes your trying to put on. the highest amount of points you can get in this round is 1000. but if the it includes an outfit, you can only get up to 920 points. if the picture includes a costume (ex. wizard or ninja) then you can only get up to 720 points. you will LOSE points with any extra items like earrings or accessories like the whistle or fireworks.

in the end, the more points you have the more starS you get. so its important to get as many points as you can.

Rounds:

next on the list is rounds. each fashion show has 3 rounds. depending on the amount of people the fashion show starts with (out of 10) is how many people will make it on to the next round.

round 1: if there are 10 people in the show then only 6 will make it to round 2. the 6 with the most points will move on. TIP: if you dont get to many points with your outfit DONT quit out, you could catch up with posing and who knows, there might be people who did worse then you either way. plus if you quit out in any round you wont get any of the starS you earned.

round 2: the six people (out of 10) who made it to this round will compete in the theme the host selects to try to get into the top 3 and get to round 3. its important to do the best you can this round so you can make it into the final round. the people in the final round always get more stars in the end.

round 3: this round is different from the other 2 and does not have a theme. but whoever has the most points in the end wins this round. this is the final round, so try to be number 1!!

Hosting:

if your the host for the fashion show and not participating in it then your job is small. all you do is choose 2 themes for the people in the show to do and offer encouragement. when your choosing a theme little people will show below them, the number of them shows how many people in the fashion show has an item in that theme. (see below) pink is girls, blue is boys. do what you will with that.

you get more starS if there are more people in your show, and if the people in your show get a lot of points. there points and starS go into yours, so do what they ask so they wont quit out! you cant please everyone, but you can try. talk to them to see what theme they want and just be nice. if your mean, then they’ll quit out and you’ll just be disappointing them and yourself. when people get lose on any round then tell them better luck next time or something to make them feel better, not only will it make them stay but it will make them feel better and you might get a new friend. and of course when the lucky person wins yell “congrats!” or something. they deserved it. if your a good host then you’ll make the people in the fashion show happy.

Medals:

when you are a host or a fashion show participator you can earn medals. with hosting you get medals by points too, the more shows you host the more points and medal levels you earn. for the modeling medal you gain the levels of it by participating in fashion shows. when you win you get more points (obviously). check the medal guide for more information.

below is each theme with 2 pictures with people who got good scores (one for girls, one for boys) , you can try to use the same exact outfit if you want to but these aren’t the best outfits for the themes, theirs sure to be more. and you may get a different amount of points depending on if you used these outfits before or changed them.

does eycolor and skintone count? because i made it to the final round and i dressed exactly like the avatar and the other girl she dressed just like me and still got more points than me.

no it doesnt. you might have thought you dressed exactly didnt but missed something or had extra items on like the party whistle, earrings or sparklers. also, you might have used the items there a lot so lost points. orrrrrr (this is my brothers theory) if she finished before you and got everything then you might have lost points because you looked exactly like her (for originality)

i am black on all my games (black meaning brown) well on fantage the skintone doesnt… but everyone in every fashion show i saw was light colored…. then it was the final round… i had it PERFECT i mean it i had everything but the skin…So…. she had more points i mean it!!! i was just mad!!! ( i dont care about the color of skin. i care about how NICE you are.) ok anyway……………………….. i tried to tell them that they shouldnt do that. D:<

for the theme fantsy one time i put on the pink sunset shades,the pink witch costume and the broom stick board and got 1260 points but i cant send a picture

in a competition the first one done dressing for the theme gets a few extra points, im not sure how many though >.<

frosty: its only because if you finish later and someone has something that your wearing on too they’ll lose points for originality. you finish first, you dont lose any.

in the last round, if there is 2 members and 1 nonmember, the theme will mostly be member. if it was 2 nonmembers and 1 member, it will mostly be nonmember. thats what happened to me, so i think thats right. i am a member, but i always say great job at the end, because i am usually against nonmembers and i usually win.

The best way to get points and coins for judges is to make really hard on the first round, medium on the second, and let it go on the third. I once got about 360 stars doing that with 20 ppl!

Yea, That Happened to someone.

I Joined a fashion show, and then He/She Cheered for someone.
Then Someone else Came to the person who cheered for one person and said “you’re very mean” So the person who cheered for one person said “you are mean!” Then I forgot what happened.
That’s why I am always too scared to cheer for only one person.
Whenever I Want to cheer for one person, I say,”Go Everyone!”

hey frosty this is way off the subject but what u said about gems and how u get them randomly is NOT true. I saw that and was suspicious, so i tried ur theory out. If you quit as soon as you get a gem, you get a sappire. 4500 points gets u a ruby. 5000 points gets you an emerald and i suspect that a diamond is mid 6000-7000 points. (Although, sadly, I have not been able to aqquire a diamond yet.(>.<) ) Any way you won't remember, but we met on fantage. U were so nice and all! Keep up the amazing quality of your blog!!!!

frosty: ohmygosh the next time somebody tells me this i am going to rip out my hair. it IS true, i do realize that MOST of the time you get gems based on the points but NOT ALWAYS which makes it RANDOM.
