my band and mysterious box

ook you know the mysterious crate with splattered paint on it in garden gazebo? yeah well i think its for the june color wars, which is coming up soon. also i want to enter the picture band contest, but i need a band. anyone who wants to be in the band go to twirly at 5:00pm eastern today, so in like 4 hours. meet up in gilbert square east. kk byez

costumes!!

spring fling COSTUMES are out now!! there mostly from halloween but halloween was part of my quitting period so id dint get the costumes, and now you cannnn members! go to presto’s edge and under the spring fling sign is a crate, click it and buy buy buy !!! there are costumes, masks, hats, set pieces, music equipment and stage backups. they cost a lot but they perty :]

The stage is set, the speakers are booming with tunes, and the lights are ready to shine on your Dizzywood band. There’s a lot to celebrate as Spring Fling comes to an end, so grab your bandmates, buy costumes, instruments and sets, and get rockin!

Want to show off your band and how much you guys rock? Awesome, because we want to see it! And, that’s why Dizzywood is hosting Spring Fling Video and Photos Contests.

“Be A Star” Video Contest

Submit your video to our Dizzywood Youtube Channel for the chance to be featured as a winning submission on Friday, June 5th.

CONTEST RULES

1. Check with your parents first and get their help to make a video and upload it to Youtube.
2. Use your creativity (and Rockstar status) to produce a video in Dizzywood with the theme: “Favorite Place to Rock Out in Dizzywood”.
3. Upload it to Youtube and include “Dizzywood Spring Fling Concert” somewhere in your video title.
4. Remember to protect your identity and don’t include real life images or personal information, like your real name, location, or school.
5. Make sure to use music that isn’t copyrighted. Try out the AudioSwap feature on Youtube.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Wednesday, June 3rd

If you don’t have access to creating and uploading a video to the Dizzywood Youtube Channel, no worries. Just make sure to grab a Contest Camera from the concert banner in Presto’s Edge. You can take photos of your band and enter them into the photo contest.

Battle Of The Bands Photo Contest

Easily submit your band photos by taking a picture with the Contest Camera. Winning submissions will be announced and featured on the Dizzywood Homepage Friday, June 5th.

in gilbert square east the stage is set up with band equipment, so if you put together a band head on over and record a music video for dizzywood! if you dont have a band, like moi, then just watch people and either say “woo hoo i love this song *dances*” or “BOOO YA’LL STINKERS!” yes, stinkers. okk missions still arent out so i post them when they are =D

New thing! (player profile cards)

Hi! There’s this new thingy my friend heliXtreme found!

You can click on their usernames, in the Who’s Here list, or the one under them when their walking. It glows!
A box thing pops up and its kinda like the Dw Profiles.

to add to that~ ok well once you click someones name or your own you can see how old they are, days signed in (whatever that means), the badges they have and also new medals for completing certain missions or doing certain tasks! if there gold you also have a little badge thing next to there picture on the profile and it says their status under their name. to send buddy requests you now have to click on there name then click the green star, and to block them you click the red block thing…
but this new profile thing only works if there in the room, it doesn’t work when you click on someone from your buddy list. the missions aren’t out yet (its only 11:30 @ dw right now, 2:30pm for me) but when they are i’ll post them ^.^

p.s. ALSOOO- the locked missions in your missions tab have yellow text now. dunno why. and some of us (like me) dont have some of those new medal things because like for the critters thing i got mine before missions were even out, so i didnt do the mission to get a critter. i dont have the badge. which stinksss btw! (omgz im 550 days old on dw)
